My name is Bernadette Barna Toth and I am a professional photographer in Portishead, Bristol specialised in Family photography. 

My friends know me as an always smiling, really friendly person.

I’m a mum to a wonderful child who has been my inspiration over the last years, allowing me to combine the things I am most passionate about: children  &  family photography. 

I have a deep love for art, nature, and all things beautiful. Aside from photography, I’m also into singing, songwriting, creating sea glass jewellery, graphic design, and all sorts of creative projects.
My main goal in everything I do is to create something magical that tells a story, and brings joy & emotions.. In my personal life, I believe in living in the present moment with warmth, kindness, curiosity, and an open heart. With years of experience and a deep love for photography, I strive to create timeless images that you and your loved ones will cherish forever.

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have always loved looking at old pictures of my parents and my childhood. To me, photos tell a story that words alone can’t convey.

Photography is both my calling and my profession.

I picked up my first camera at 15 and never really put it down.

Fast forward 9+ years, and I’ve turned that passion into a professional photography business in Bristol, specialising in:

There is so much about a photographer’s skill set that isn’t always visible when simply looking at the image. Photography is a form of art and it requires a creative mind, but also a good skill to work with people. I have been in business for almost 11 Years, and I am proud to see the achievements and development I’ve made throughout these last years. Working on beautiful portraits has taught me so much, and I’m still super passionate about learning and developing new skills. I truly believe that learning is a lifelong adventure!

One of my biggest strengths is my retouching skills. You don’t need to worry about people in the background, any unwanted items or everyone looking at the same time at the camera.  

I can do a great range of editing from a simple head swaps to complicated high-end retouch.

I think communicating is crucial to get the best images therefore I love to chat between shots but I always have my camera ready to capture a genuine smile.

I am engaging, warm, really friendly and emphatic. I am happy to guide the photo sessions along.

A photographer wishes to share what she sees by capturing it into an image. Therefore every photograph captured by me reflects how I see the world. Beautiful, heart warming, emotional, with a touch of magic.
